More about Hannah

After graduating from Otago University as a dentist, Hannah worked at Christchurch Hospital and in private practice. She then returned to Otago to complete her three-year specialist orthodontist training.

After completing her doctorate in Orthodontics, Hannah sat the Membership in Orthodontics examination with the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). She attained the highest mark for an overseas student in this examination and was awarded the John McDonald Medal.

Following graduation, she was appointed as an honorary lecturer at Otago University and worked as the specialist orthodontist on the Otago cleft and craniofacial team at Dunedin Hospital.  She then worked as an orthodontist in South Auckland for over 10 years before her move to West Harbour. She has also been an executive for the Wish for a Smile Trust, the charitable trust of the New Zealand Association of Orthodontists, for the past eight years.

Hannah lives in West Auckland with her family, and she has two young children, Chloe and Eve. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with them and getting into the outdoors.
